How Goodwin Law Is Supporting Attorney Wellbeing Through Commuter Benefits

Across the legal industry, firms are increasingly prioritizing attorney mental health and workplace wellbeing. One initiative helping drive this change is the American Bar Association’s Well-Being Pledge, which encourages firms to take meaningful steps to support healthier, more sustainable legal careers.

But signing the pledge is just the beginning. Each year, participating firms must recommit and outline the actions they’ve taken to advance the pledge’s goals.

Goodwin Law recently took one of those steps by introducing a new commuter benefit through Ridepanda.

The firm provided attorneys and employees with a $100 monthly subsidy toward a Ridepanda subscription, giving them access to a healthier and less stressful way to commute.

The program saw strong early adoption, reaching 7% participation in its first month.

Why commuting? Research across Ridepanda riders shows that active commuting can have a meaningful impact on employee wellbeing, with many riders reporting improvements in stress levels, physical activity, and overall workday energy.

For Goodwin, the program offered a practical way to turn its commitment to attorney wellbeing into a daily benefit employees can actually experience.
