Sonoma Power’s new e-Bike rebate program provides a rebate to Sonoma County residents. The rebate offers $1000 incentive of the cost of qualifying e-bikes.
Step 1 - Apply here and see if you qualify for the rebate
You will be notified within 5-7 days if you are approved and will be mailed a personalized voucher with a unique Voucher ID.
Step 2 :
Go to this landing Page to browse through the Ebikes valid for this rebate program.
Select your electric bike and add it to the cart. Enter the full Voucher ID in the format BE-XXXXXXXXX and the $1,000 discount will be subtracted from the price. Pay the remaining difference to place the order for your new eBike.
Note: only one purchase is allowed per household.
Any Sonoma Clean Power customer on our reduced CARE/FERA rates is eligible to participate in this program. We also accept proof of participation in several income-qualified programs such as SNAP (aka food stamps), Medicaid/Medical, Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI), Women Infants and Children (WIC), Head Start, and many others. Only the E-bikes listed on this rebate page are eligible.
E-bikes must meet the criteria below to qualify for a rebate :
A qualifying E-bike covered by this Program must be a bicycle equipped with fully operable pedals and an electric motor of less than or equal to 750 watts, as defined in Section 312.5 of the California Vehicle Code. Class 1 and Class 2 are eligible.
E-bike must be new and must cost a maximum of $3,500.
Mountain bikes and road bikes are not eligible.
E-bike conversion kits, scooters, and mopeds are not eligible. Accessories, bike locks, helmets, etc. are not eligible.
Vouchers are valid from March 8, 2021 to September 30, 2021, or until program funds are depleted (whichever comes first).

If you are unhappy with your purchase and wish to return or exchange your eBike, your return is subject to the manufacturer's returns policies. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping and any restocking fees.
